Job Description

Position Summary

Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in computational neuroscience are available in the Hiratani Lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Our laboratory seeks to uncover the fundamental principles underlying learning and computation in the brain from the interface between the brain and artificial intelligence. Our laboratory resides in the new neuroscience research building, where many collaboration opportunities with excellent experimental laboratories are available.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. (or equivalent doctoral) degree in computational neuroscience, statistics, computer science, physics, math, or a related field.
  • Strong mathematical and/or programming skills.
  • Ability to maintain collegial conduct towards colleagues, collaborators, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
