Job Description

The Auto-Owners Associates Credit Union (AOACU) serves the financial needs of associates and retirees of Auto-Owners Insurance Company.

The AOACU Credit Union Support team is looking for a motivated, part-time Member Service Representative (MSR) to join their team. The MSR is responsible for providing friendly and professional service to our members, as well as:

• Building trusting relationships with members and providing them with high quality and accurate member service
• Efficiently processing daily work in a multi-tasking environment
• Opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts and responding to member requests
• Processing, preparing and closing installment loans
• Providing in-person or by-telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union services
• Assisting with other duties within the department as needed

Desired Skills & Experience

• High school diploma and /or 1 or more years of equivalent Bank/Credit Union work experience and knowledge of Bank/Credit Union products, services and processes
• Ability to work quickly and independently with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
• Exhibit strong levels of organization and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
• Ability to use good problem resolution skills
• Regular and predictable attendance
