What you'll do

The commercial partnerships team play a critical role in managing NatWest Boxed 3rd parties, internal services and client contracting. As a Supply Chain Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a best-in-class supplier portfolio, driving procurement & commercial process efficiencies and delivering client contract frameworks to support and evolve the BaaS proposition.

Alongside this, you'll be shaping the development of supply chain strategies and solutions across multiple spend categories and owning and developing key strategic 3rd party relationships for NatWest Boxed.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Lead E2E sourcing activity including developing category strategies, conducting competitive RFP’s, identifying suppliers that align with the company OKRs and managing complex negotiations that deliver strong commercial & contractual outcomes
  • Support and deputise for Head of Partnerships to deliver on multiple client contracts, including evolving frameworks, identifying synergies, drafting contract schedules and monitoring in-life client contract performance
  • Proactively reviewing processes, systems and tools. Identify and implement process efficiencies to drive value, self-serve approach and adherence to our processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively utilise and continuously improve golden source MI to identify, report and present on strategic date-driven procurement and commercial insights
  • Strategically managing suppliers & commercial partners to ensure strong contractual performance and value whilst identifying commercial benefit and continuous improvement initiatives in a rapidly scaling and changing environment

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you'll need at least ten years experience in a procurement (or similar role) across the E2E supply chain preferably in a fintech or a financial services company and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast paced agile environment. You’ll need strong influencing and interpersonal skills to collaborate and manage a diverse set of internal/external stakeholders.

Additionally, you'll be educated to degree level, or the equivalent, and have experience of leading strategic and business critical supplier / partner relationships with proven commercial acumen and extensive experience in negotiating complex contracts.

Furthermore, you’ll demonstrate:

  • An understanding of contract law and outsourcing regulations  relevant to financial services
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in procurement software / tools and collaboration tooling such as Google Workspace or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to a senior audience.
  • Proficient in creating presentations and executive summaries
