What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a Cheddar Operator in Weyauwega, WI .

The Cheddar Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging and sealing cheddar cheese into 640-pound boxes.

  

• $25.81/hour
• $1.50 Shift Differential
• Double Time on Sundays and holidays
• 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule
  • 3:30 pm – 3:00 am

What you need to join our team:  

• Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Assembling boxes

• Filling barrels

• Moving 640 barrels through inverter

• Removing pans and angles

• Loading and unloading vacuum chambers

• Moving 640 barrels from rail area to seal area

• Sealing 640 barrels

• Transporting 640 barrels from seal area to pre coolers

• Performing essential sanitation duties

• No experience required; in house training provided
• Willingness to learn and work as a team
• Desire to grow with a stable company

Weyauwega, WI

• Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.  

  Weyauwega is a quaint rural community of 1,900, offering the opportunity for both rural and urban living.
