ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Engineer for Dormer Pramet, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our innovative range of cutting tools in MEA. You will grow business with existing end users and distribution partners, while also identifying and developing new opportunities. The role is home-based in Turkey, meaning you operate from your home office and plan your customer visits in all the area. Today the position covers countries like Pakistan, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, and African markets, but you will receive close support from your direct manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role involves providing technical and commercial advice and support, resolving customer challenges efficiently, and working closely with our distribution network to drive mutual success. You’ll also conduct cutting tool tests, interpret technical drawings, and demonstrate value through cost-saving initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll bring a solid engineering background along with product knowledge and sales experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset will serve you well, as will being results-driven and resilient. Excellent organisation and negotiation skills are essential, and experience within relevant industry segments is highly desirable.
This role might include some collaboration with cross border colleagues. A good working knowledge of English will help you succeed and we are happy to support continuous learning. The knowledge of Arabic might be a good addition.
Turkish citizenship is required to allow fast visa process for certain countries.
