Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Orchestrade to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our trade integration systems, supporting Orchestrade, and collaborating with internal teams to integrate pricing models and develop custom solutions within the Orchestrade platform. This role requires a strong background in C# development, with additional experience in financial products and SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the integration pipeline that sends trade data into Orchestrade, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate in providing first-line technical support for Orchestrade, addressing system issues and resolving user queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate Verition pricing models into Orchestrade, ensuring smooth functionality within the trading environment.
  • Build and develop custom columns in the Orchestrade graphical user interface (GUI) to meet specific business needs and improve system usability.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in C# development, with a focus on building, testing (NUnit), and deploying (Jenkins) scalable applications.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration across teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, including bonds, swaps, listed options, and listed futures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in developing trading systems.
  • Strong skills in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and managing databases.
  • Prior experience with Orchestrade is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in Python is useful but not required.
  • Familiarity with financial industry standards and protocols (e.g., FIX) is a plus.
