The purpose of this position is to develop into a full Account Executive role. During the development period, the candidate will learn to establish and maintain strong client relationships, focusing especially on interior design partners and key commercial accounts. This role will support Account Executives, learning how to professionally negotiate profitable sales, manage pipelines, and contribute to achieving company gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relations
- Meet regularly with existing and prospective clients, building strong professional relationships.
- Focus on relationship development with interior designer teams across selected companies.
- Ideate, organize, and attend client events and networking functions.
- Will work with existing clients, post-sale, on education about cleaning and maintenance of installed products.
Learning & Development
- Participate in training and coaching provided by the Sales Team Lead and Account Executives.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility and a willingness to develop commercial and technical skills.
- Work closely with Account Executives day to day to learn all aspects of the role.
Sales Support & Business Development
- Support Account Executives in achieving sales targets and meet assigned targets for designated accounts.
- Coordinate activities on projects as needed.
- Identify opportunities within new and existing accounts.
- Identify key buying influences and document their roles in each project.
- Identify product and service opportunities aligned with client needs.
- Maintain accurate data in CRM systems and use the Interface Advance selling process to track opportunities.
- Ensure timely and accurate CRM use and meet agreed-upon KPIs.
- Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasting.
Market Awareness
- Attend industry events to build market knowledge and strengthen external brand awareness.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and factors impacting the company.
- Understand and document key drivers for selected accounts.
Account Management
- Develop and maintain detailed account maps for selected accounts.
- Create and document strategic objectives for accounts
- Execute corresponding activities and KPIs.
- Conduct regular business performance reviews with assigned accounts.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams—including supply chain, customer service, marketing, finance, custom design, and sales colleagues—to meet customer expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve overall customer engagement and internal processes.
Reporting & Administrative Duties
- Develop and execute annual product/service review plans for each client.
- Complete all required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client database information.
- Ensure timely and accurate quotes
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Travel & Work Schedule
- Extensive local travel, including occasional overnight travel for regional or national sales meetings, is required.
- Attendance at industry and customer events outside regular office hours is expected.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven ability to network, generate follow-up opportunities, and build strong relationships.
- Experience in sales and/or project management.

- Industry knowledge (commercial interiors, design, architecture, or related fields) preferred.
- Ability to work professionally under pressure in competitive environments.
- Valid driver’s license
- Formal qualifications in sales, marketing, design, or a related field are highly desirable.
