The IT Principal Architect, SAP Quality Management resource is responsible for developing architectural designs for integrated systems within the SAP Quality Management, RAQA and corresponding set of applications. In this role, you will partner with Business Analysts and Technical Analysts to understand the overall business need, define overarching requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and develop an overarching architectural design and model that will support Stryker’s business needs. You will be responsible for verifying the detailed technical documents, validating the configuration within the assigned applications, and ensuring solutions are delivered based on the architected design and developing architectural designs for integrated systems within the SAP Quality Management, RAQA, EWM and corresponding set of applications. In this role, you will partner with Business Analysts and Technical Analysts to understand the overall business need, define overarching requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and develop an overarching architectural design and model that will support Stryker’s business needs. You will be responsible for verifying the detailed technical documents, validating the configuration within the assigned applications, and ensuring solutions are delivered based on the architected design.

This role is 100% remote, but must be based in the EST or CST time zones.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the overall systems architecture, Technical and functional design in the area of SAP Quality Management, EWM and Distribution & Logistics to manage design and deploy integrated end-to-end solutions.

  • Driving vendor engagement and accountability to deliver as per program KPI and SLA.

  • Play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).

  • Works closely with strategic solution partners, business process owners, architects/leads from other tracks and super users to close out every phase as part of deployment playbook or project methodology.

  • Proactively identify business and system improvements, make recommendations, take ownership and bring those initiatives to successful implementation in warehouse and distribution area.

  • Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics.

  • Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc.

  • Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required

  • Master’s degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines preferred

  • 8+ years experience required

  • Experience in SAP full life-cycle implementations and demonstrated project implementation experience required

  • SAP project implementation experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) and integration with other process areas is required

  • Deep understanding of systems, configuration and business processes within SAP Supply Chain covering Quality Management and other SAP cross functional experience in PP/EWM/IM/MM, Procurement, DG Management (EHS-DGP), GTS and SD is required

  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Planning and Inspections, Batch and Serial management, Quality Holds, Defect Management, Product Life Cycle, Product Registrations, etc.

$112,800 - $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 30%
