JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to provide effective, integrated project management support across categories in the Americas, enabling the Innovation PMO to drive speed, consistency, operational excellence and improved OTIF delivery. The role supports the Innovation PMO Director in defining the PMO roadmap, overseeing workload and capacity, driving PMO OKRs, ensuring clear ways of working, and delivering accurate LT reporting on OTIF, project RAG status, benchmarking and lessons learned. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide effective project management support for Americas projects delivered by UL partner Capgemini.
• Oversee the Americas Innovation PMO operation, working with senior stakeholders across categories to understand strategic priorities, goals and objectives.
• Provide ongoing visibility of the PMO offering, project pipeline and upcoming capacity by attending LT meetings as required.
• Define and embed service offerings that strengthen the Innovation PMO as a Centre of Excellence, while leading key workstreams of the Innovation PMO roadmap.
• Drive best-in-class reporting and data quality by using available tools and systems to deliver accurate, timely internal and external portfolio reporting.
• Promote and support the adoption of Phoenix across the division, cascading information on system updates and improvements.
• Drive improved innovation speed and delivery across the division through standard tools, project management discipline, risk analysis and portfolio management reporting.
• Define and implement process enhancements, new capabilities and methodologies to enable the timely and fast delivery of complex innovation projects.
• Indirectly manage Project Managers and remote Associate Project Managers from third-party representatives, enabling superior and reliable PMO project delivery.
• Represent and advocate for the Innovation PMO team in relevant forums.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Solid understanding of innovation and NPD processes.
• Proven knowledge and experience in project delivery within a fast-paced business environment.
• Proven experience managing innovation and development projects to successful outcomes.
• Strong project management capability, including an external certification such as IPMA, APM, PMI or Prince2.
• Strong experience and skills in MS Project, reporting, risk management and stakeholder communication.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Supply Chain Innovation Planner experience or background.
• Experience leading or working with virtual teams and driving performance across diverse cultures.
• Ability to think strategically, influence stakeholders at all levels and support the development of the Innovation PMO team.
