Position Summary
The Lead Director of Integration - HR Technology , will lead the integrations team, overseeing the development, management, and support of all Workday integrations. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure integrations are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

As the leader of the integrations team, the person will guide technical strategy, ensuring seamless integrations between Workday HCM and various internal and external systems while supporting the overall health of Workday integrations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading Integration Development: Overseeing end-to-end process of designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations, including scoping requirements, creating technical specs, and ensuring successful production deployments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working with internal and external partners to ensure integration designs meet business and vendor requirements, facilitating sessions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor for the integrations team, providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and Workday-related issues. 
  • Production Support: Overseeing ongoing support and monitoring of all integrations, managing inbound and outbound issues, and leading incident resolution processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying current on emerging Workday features, updates, and trends to ensure that all integrations follow best practices and are optimized for efficiency and scalability.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and other relevant tools
  • 5+ years leading an integrations engineering team
  • Proven ability to lead a team of Workday engineers in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues related to Workday integrations
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API pattern


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Integrations Pro certification
  • Experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and calculated fields.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
