Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will guide a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high standards throughout the application lifecycle. Your day involves overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. You will focus on implementing quality processes and methodologies, monitoring key performance indicators, and managing the testing workflow to ensure timely defect identification and resolution. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement of testing practices are central to your role.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members and promoting best practices in quality engineering.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the overall project lifecycle.
- Support junior professionals by providing guidance and facilitating their growth within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and testing frameworks relevant to IT operations.
- Experience in designing and executing end-to-end testing strategies across complex application ecosystems.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics to monitor test progress and defect management.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with automation tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
