The ANZ Field Marketing focus is to build and implement targeted integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth and deliver tangible ACV to fuel the continued growth of Workday in the APAC region. We are a trusted strategic partner to the ANZ sales business and go beyond conventional marketing approaches. We delve deep into data-driven insights to engage and activate audiences across various channels, empowering us to make bold decisions that directly impact our business outcomes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Experiential & Executive Engagement Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of Workday’s large and medium sized events in line with the company’s business objectives. In addition this role will be responsible for the execution of strategic marketing initiatives focused on engaging C-suite executives and key decision-makers. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with top-tier executives, positioning Workday as a trusted partner and thought leader in the industry.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead the strategy, planning and executions of large and medium sized experiential campaigns, both in person and hybrid to increase brand consideration, drive net new opportunities and support pipeline progression.
Create project plans, budgets and RACIs, ensuring delivery against timelines and within budgets.
Build relationships with third party vendors to achieve the best outcome and experience for Workday and our customers.
Support the experience of ANZ customers at Flagship event, Rising.
Oversee all logistical aspects of events including venue selection, contract negotiations, vendor management and onsite coordination.
Lead and mentor staff and volunteers to ensure smooth experiential experience.
Work with Global, Regional and Country teams to co-create memorable experiences for our customers and help establish stronger relationships with C-Suite in strategic accounts.
Identify and implement innovative event concepts to enhance attendee attendance and experience.
Work with audience leads to develop content and build out the customer journey within key events.
Cross team collaboration to ensure event alignment and support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, sponsors, and partners.
Conduct post event evaluations to assess and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze event data and provide comprehensive reports on event and experiences against KPIs.
Co-create an executive engagement plan to deliver against business objectives leveraging key sponsorships and hospitality.
Define and implement the overall executive engagement strategy aligned with company goals and target audience.
Plan and execute exclusive events tailored to executive audiences, including sponsorships, hospitality events, roundtable discussions, private dinners, executive summits, and VIP experiences at industry conferences.
Negotiate sponsorships and hospitality events to ensure a premium and memorable experience for C level executives.
Create format, agenda and host executive account briefings aligned to account plans both locally and internationally.
About You
Ideal candidate will have:
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of multichannel experiential event experience within Enterprise/SaaS based companies delivering large scale events.
Demonstrable experience creating and delivering multimillion dollar events.
Experience in designing physical and hybrid customer event experiences.
Track record of developing and executing successful executive engagement programs in a B2B environment.
Deep understanding of executive-level communication and relationship building.
Ability to understand and communicate with live production, event build vendors.
Other Qualifications
Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with external vendors, sponsors and partners.
Demonstrable experience delivering C-Suite experiences.
Strong exposure to managing risk and dependency management.
Executive stakeholder management skills (engaging and influencing) and ability to build constructive and effective relationships .
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels.
Solid data analysis skills in analysing and gaining insights from data gathered during campaigns.
Outcome orientation; quickly take strategy to flawless execution of integrated campaigns.
Ability to deliver business results, showcasing a flexible demeanour, integrity and dedication to quality.
Strong sense of teamwork.
Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams.
Strong negotiation skills.
Experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
