Salesforce is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Director of Product Management to join our Data 360 Segmentation and Activation team. Salesforce Data 360 is the #1 Customer Data Platform and is consistently named the leader by analysts. This role is responsible for defining, delivering and scaling adoption of key capabilities that help our customers transform their unified customer data into actionable audiences and activate data for those audiences to personalize every experience across marketing, advertising and the Customer 360.

You will join a winning, highly visible team defining the vision, strategy, and execution for segmentation and activation with broad impact across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Salesforce’s largest enterprise customers.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for Data 360 Segmentation and Activation, aligned to Salesforce Data 360 and Customer 360 strategy including our agentic strategies

  • Identify new opportunities to unlock customer value through advanced segmentation, real-time activation, and cross-channel orchestration

  • Balance platform scalability with marketer and business usability, ensuring capabilities meet enterprise-scale and real-time requirements

End-to-End Product Leadership

  • Own the full product lifecycle from customer discovery and requirements definition through delivery, launch, and adoption

  • Translate customer, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps

  • Drive measurable outcomes including adoption, customer satisfaction, and business impact

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Engage directly with enterprise customers, partners, and field teams to understand real-world use cases, pain points, and emerging trends

  • Represent Salesforce as a subject matter expert in segmentation, activation, and customer data platforms

  • Incorporate evolving privacy, consent, and regulatory considerations into product design

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Data Science, and Architecture teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality, scalable capabilities

  • Align across multiple Salesforce clouds and platform teams to ensure consistent design, interoperability, and adoption

  • Influence without authority across a complex stakeholder ecosystem

Go-to-Market & Evangelism

  • Support launches by enabling Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Partners with product narratives, demos, and enablement assets

  • Participate in key customer engagements, executive briefings, and industry events

  • Act as a champion for segmentation and activation internally and externally

Who You Are

You are a strategic product leader who thrives at the intersection of data platforms, marketing technology, and enterprise SaaS. You are equally comfortable shaping vision and getting into execution details, and you bring clarity and alignment to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in product management, including ownership of major platform capabilities or product lines

  • Proven experience building and scaling data platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), or activation technologies

  • Strong understanding of segmentation, activation, identity, and data modeling concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product roadmaps in complex, cross-functional organizations

  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and customers

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering products for marketers, advertisers, or data-driven customer engagement teams

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Platform, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CRM ecosystems

  • Experience with privacy, consent management, and data governance considerations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

  • Strong technical fluency across modern data stacks, APIs, and real-time systems

  • Experience working with global and distributed teams

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $218,400 - $365,200 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $263,200 - $410,400 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
