We're seeking an experienced Lead Google Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in GCP services, cloud architecture, and migration strategies.

**This Hybrid role (in-office Tues-Wed-Thurs) can be based in either Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Malvern, PA, or Scottsdale, AZ**

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures on GCP.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using GCP services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with GCP releases, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine, Storage, Networking, IAM, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools (e.g., Cloud Migration Service).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
  • Programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitOps).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have:
Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer or Architect.
Experience with Kubernetes, Anthos, or other containerization platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.
