As our Accounts Receivable Manager, Marketplace, you will lead the financial operations for our rapidly expanding cloud marketplace ecosystem (AWS, Azure, and GCP). This is a strategic backfill for a key leadership role within our Global Order-to-Cash organization.
You will own the daily financial operations of MongoDB’s cloud marketplace business across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Ensure seamless integration between partner portals and internal finance systems while safeguarding transaction accuracy, revenue integrity, and operational continuity. Proactively identify risks and implement scalable solutions as transaction volumes grow.

Based in our Gurugram office, you will sit at the intersection of Finance, Sales Operations, and Cloud Engineering. You aren't just managing a ledger; you are managing the financial health of our most critical growth channel, ensuring that high-volume marketplace transactions are billed accurately and collected with surgical precision.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Marketplace Operations Leadership: Serve as the functional successor in managing MongoDB’s cloud marketplace presence. Oversee the daily flow of transactions through AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless integration between partner portals and internal finance systems
  • Accounts Receivable Supervision: Maintain rigorous oversight of the AR lifecycle for the marketplace portfolio. This includes supervising the accuracy of invoices, monitoring aging reports, and ensuring that payouts are reconciled daily against recognized revenue

Lead end-to-end AR lifecycle management for the marketplace portfolio: Oversee invoice accuracy and completeness to maintain reliable financial records, monitor aging accounts and drive a proactive collections strategy to optimize cash flow, meet/exceed assigned cash targets on a monthly and quarterly basis & participate actively in month-end and close activities, including reporting.

  • Cash Application & Reconciliation Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate application of marketplace receipts across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Oversee daily reconciliation for incoming cash, minimize unapplied cash, resolve remittance discrepancies, and drive automation to support scale and clean audit trails & partner cross-functionally to address root causes.
  • Strategic Partner Engagement: Act as the primary Finance liaison for our Cloud Partners which includes maintaining strong relationships to ensure all issues or discrepancies can be resolved timely. 
  • Process Standardization: Continue the evolution of our "Order-to-Cash" workflows. Identify bottlenecks in the marketplace billing cycle and implement automated solutions to manage increasing transaction volumes as we scale along with owning operational readiness in a fast-paced environment by multitasking effectively and staying highly organized.
  • Team Mentorship & Management: Retain, lead and develop a high-performing team of AR Specialists in India. Your day will include technical guidance on complex reconciliations, performance reviews, and fostering a culture of "Customer Success" within Finance.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: In this role, you will partner closely with the Marketplace Operations, Marketplace Billing, and Customer Success teams to ensure that marketplace customers experience a frictionless billing journey. You will act as a strategic bridge between the Finance and Sales teams to ensure contract alignment, billing accuracy, and clear revenue visibility.
  • SOX & Audit: Ensure operations and processes adhere to our SOX Controls, reviews and is familiar with our key and non key controls listed in AuditBoard. Monitor and adjust processes, workflows, recommend controls needed or changes to existing controls as business operations change & support Audit requirements and activities as needed. 

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: 8–10 years in Accounts Receivable or Revenue Operations, with 4+ years in a leadership capacity within a high-growth Global Capability Center (GCC) or SaaS environment.
  • Technical Mastery: * Advanced proficiency in NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM) is essential
    • Hands-on experience with automated collections tools and reporting 
    • Expert Excel skills (Data manipulation, Power Query, and complex reconciliations)
  • Marketplace Savvy: Deep understanding of hyperscaler billing dynamics (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including payout reports, net vs. gross revenue, and fee structures
  • Analytical Rigor: An obsession with detail and the ability to spot root-cause issues in large, multi-currency datasets
  • Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders across US and EMEA time zones
  • Compliance: Solid understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls related to the Order-to-Cash cycle

  • In 1 Month: Fully onboard and master the unique nuances of established marketplace workflows and reporting cadences
  • In 6 Months: Take complete ownership of the marketplace AR portfolio, achieving "Zero-Variance" monthly reconciliations and reducing the aging profile
  • In 12 Months: Serve as a global subject matter expert for marketplace expansion, advising on financial controls and scaling the India-based team to support $5B+ in revenue
