Role and Responsibilities

The Pricing Manager is responsible for setting, maintaining, and monitoring prices for MX service parts and services. This position requires a combination of strong analytical skills and business acumen. The ideal candidate analyzes market trends and customer feedback to ensure the company’s pricing strategies are competitive and attractive to target customers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing.
  • Analyze customer and market trends to determine appropriate pricing
  • Monitor and update pricing as needed to reflect changes in the market
  • Develop and maintain pricing databases and systems
  • Develop and maintain pricing guidelines and procedures
  • Participate in pricing negotiations with customers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with Samsung Mobile Care goals
  • Prepare pricing reports and analyses for senior management monthly
  • Adjust reverse margin prices regularly and irregularly with HQ(Suwon) and develop pricing policies.
  • Conduct mystery shopping for counterfeit parts, competitors’ parts, and parts prices from other countries, and reflect the findings in work/reports
  • Collaborate with the BM team's P&L to ensure the MX division secures an appropriate Gross/Net margin.
  • Manage general Tariff issues, HTS code classification with the customs team/brokers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 6+ years of pricing experience in a corporate environment preferred (Telecom, Technology, Consumer Electronics, or Retail industry.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of pricing tools and techniques
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical skills with respect to data manipulation, and the ability to create actionable and informative data (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, dashboarding).
  • A high level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, and executive presence fits a fast-paced, energetic, and proactive organization.
