Job Description:
To be responsible for the operations of the Front Office department at MGM including services at the Reception and Telephone Operator
Be knowledgeable of Hotel information to effectively and confidently answer guest inquiries
To be responsible for providing Front Office Reception and Telephone Operator services to all guests at MGM in accordance with established department standards ensuring the highest level of service is provided to Hotel guests, members and other customers
Provide a welcoming statement and deliver personalized service to all hotel guests by having genuine interest in guest preferences, wishes and expectation personally and through telecommunications
Ensure accurate registration of guests, room assignment, reservations and details; prepare keys, collect payments and provide appropriate hotel orientation when necessary
Maintain a cash float, accept and process payment for guest accounts at registration and checkout; maintain a daily report of all deposits and receipts and ensure all transactions, postings and cash are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift according to MGM standard
Job Requirements:
2 years’ experience in similar capacity in a 5 star luxury Hotel, Resort or Casino environment
Bachelor’s Degree from reputable University preferred.
Excellent language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Excellent knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office, HotSOS and other operating system
Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
