POSITION SUMMARY
Under direct supervision of the Director of Data Operations, this position will maintain the AS400 and program records, programming requirements/revisions, assess dealer or account management needs by telephone and/or email and assist Director of Data Operations in new program planning, promotion, and execution.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Assist in the development and maintaining departmental processes and procedures, including identifying trends, evaluating work processes, and determining system improvements
- Assist in the maintenance of the AS400 for processing and maintaining business
- Assist dealers and/or Account Management Team, as well as the Call Center, using a variety of software applications, email, online databases, and the Internet. Answer questions by telephone, by email, or in-person about data acquisitions, resources, and programming.
- Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect. Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain service contract processing procedures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
- Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to processing incoming business.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental relationships.
- Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
- Make effective and responsible decisions, based on standards established, keeping in mind the effect of the whole process
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Resolve complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-5 years administrative and/or customer service experience
- Proficient computer and data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
