What you will be doing:

You will be part of the global FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform team, supporting clients worldwide across trading, risk, and portfolio lifecycle management applications. In this hybrid functional‑technical role, you will work closely with the broader Client Experience team on complex issue resolution, continuous improvement, and application support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose, assess, and resolve a wide range of application issues—from installation‑related technical problems to functional inquiries.

  • Provide practical, effective solutions that improve client experience and application usability.

  • Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot technical or IT‑related issues.

  • Lead live troubleshooting sessions with clients when needed.

Collaboration & Client Interaction

  • Work as part of an internationally distributed team committed to delivering high‑quality support to clients around the world.

  • Collaborate with technical and professional consultants, support staff across geographies, and client teams to achieve team objectives

What you bring:

  • Strong mathematical, business, or technical acumen with proven problem‑solving abilities in software support or another relevant technical role.

  • Demonstrated interest in software development and modern IT environments.

  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows system administration.

  • Working knowledge of databases, database architecture, and basic database administration.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong sense of ownership.

  • Lateral thinker capable of proposing pragmatic solutions to complex IT issues.

  • Outstanding diagnostic skills with a clear ability to analyze and resolve technical problems.

  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Organizational Science, or a related field.

  • Ability to effectively interact with AI LLMs (e.g. Copilot), creating prompts and using AI agents to reduce resolution time of issues and automate daily manual activities.

Added Bonus / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in capital markets roles (e.g., traders, portfolio managers, risk managers, treasury professionals).

  • Familiarity with SQL, XML, and Windows PowerShell.

  • Knowledge of cloud and desktop infrastructure (workstations, servers, virtual technologies such as AWS or Azure).

  • 2–5 years of experience in software application support.
