Summary:
- The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and optimizing customer journeys, leveraging both event-based and segment-based triggers, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless activation across digital channels.
- A typical day involves close collaboration with team members to understand project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure applications are optimized for performance and user experience.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem, particularly Real-Time CDP, audience segmentation, and schema/XDM constructs, along with a solid grasp of journey orchestration best practices.
- The candidate will actively participate in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage multi-step, personalized customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Defining and configure events, triggers, and audience segments based on customer behavior and real-time data.
- Collaborate with AEP specialists to ensure accurate data ingestion, identity stitching, and profile activation.
- Integrate AJO journeys with communication channels such as Email, Push, SMS, and In-App Messaging using Adobe and third-party connectors.
- Create and manage journey versions, validate logic paths, and conduct QA/UAT to ensure expected journey outcomes.
- Monitor and optimize journey performance using analytics insights and business KPIs.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate marketing and business requirements into automated customer journeys.
- Support integration with Offer Decisioning, where applicable.
- Maintain comprehensive journey documentation, technical flow diagrams, and user guides.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, content, and development, to ensure end-to-end delivery.
- Operate independently and progressively establish expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Contribute to solution development for work-related challenges.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in digital marketing or marketing automation platforms.
- Proven experience working with both event-triggered and segment-triggered journeys.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA); CJA experience is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of Offer Decisioning; experience with Adobe Campaign Standard is an added advantage.
- Experience integrating and testing communication channels such as Email, SMS, and Push notifications.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Understanding of user interface design and user experience principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration methodologies and APIs.
- Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) certification or Adobe Experience Platform Business Practitioner certification.
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA-compliant customer journeys).
- Exposure to REST APIs, identity namespaces, or Adobe Tags (Launch).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have 4-8 Yrs with 3+ AJO, CJA,AEP
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
- Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Platform schemas, datasets, audiences, and Real-Time CDP
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
