The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Network Administrator for a new customer on a strategic High-Performance Computing (HPC) program. The Senior Network Administrator will need to be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to work within a team to mature the HPC capabilities of our customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).
Basic qualifications:
Candidates shall have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Network Engineering and eight (8) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the individual shall have six (6) years of full time CS experience and at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection.
Have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks. With the following skills: Installation, configuration, and support of:
Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols
Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite
Able to support on-call requirements.
Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
IAT Level II Certification Required.
Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with FS polygraph
