Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the seamless operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency, all while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional service to stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support. - Document and communicate technical issues and resolutions effectively. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux Architecture. - Strong understanding of system performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for system health. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner. - Experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). - Experience of clustering technologies for HA/DR. - Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware etc) - Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools like Ansible - Understanding of SAP and traditional databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux Architecture. - A 15 years full time education is required.
