Job Description:

Position Overview

The Andersons is an Agricultural Supply Chain company that is dedicated to providing high-quality grain products to meet the demands of our customers and end-users. As we focus on our goal of feeding and fueling the world, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Trade & Renewables Engineering team.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will apply engineering knowledge toward project planning and management.  This position plans projects from conception to completion, estimating timelines and schedules, anticipating risks and costs, and coordinating project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reasonable and cost-effective project and electrical estimates
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
  • Evaluate and identify all equipment, materials and other resources required for physical completion of projects
  • Oversee the development of layout and detail drawings needed for project management
  • Project Management achieving predicted cost, timing, and functional outcome.
  • Technical resource for reviewing existing assets and considered projects, providing the appropriate guidance related to risk and benefit.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Engineering preferred, Master’s Degree a plus
  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience required in lieu of educational degree
