The Position:

The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for unifying and elevating all commercial functions, including marketing, brand, business development, advertising, and creative, into a cohesive strategy that fuels GameChanger’s long-term growth. This executive will build and lead a high-performing organization that drives acquisition, engagement, monetization, and market visibility, while aligning closely with product, engineering, and operations to deliver a world-class customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Unify the commercial org across marketing, brand, BD, creative, and partnerships under a single, coherent growth strategy.

  • Lead go-to-market execution that spans top-of-funnel awareness through to retention, monetization, and lifetime value expansion.

  • Build and scale the commercial team, including hiring and empowering strong functional leaders with clear accountability.

  • Develop the monetization strategy across multiple revenue streams: subscriptions, advertising, partnerships, and new ventures.

  • Oversee brand development and product marketing to drive acquisition, deepen engagement, and support retention.

  • Drive operational alignment across commercial, product, engineering, and customer support teams.

  • Represent GameChanger externally with key partners, investors, and brand advocates, and internally as a core member of the executive team.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and executive team, helping shape company-wide direction and priorities.

Who You Are:

  • Executive-level ownership of revenue and commercial performance, ideally at $100M+ scale.

  • Experience building and scaling integrated commercial teams.

  • Deep fluency in brand and performance marketing tied to acquisition and retention.

  • Experience leading or collaborating closely on sales, ad monetization, or partnership growth.

  • Proven success building or evolving a go-to-market strategy that delivered meaningful business results.

  • Comfort operating in tech-forward, consumer-facing environments.

  • Experience in subscription-based or media monetization models.

  • Background in sports, youth, family, or mission-driven brands.

  • Exposure to community ecosystems and multi-stakeholder audiences.

  • Track record in M&A, licensing, or platform partnerships.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

  • Transparent, proactive communicator with high EQ and cultural awareness.

  • Coach and mentor to senior talent; able to build trust and lead through influence.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
