Manager Medicaid Plan Marketing

Location: New York. This position is primarily field-based. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in New York City or Lake Success.

The Manager Medicaid Plan Marketing is responsible for coordinating and directing the efforts of the Medicaid marketing initiatives. Develops objectives, policies, and programs for marketing activity related membership growth, retention, acquisitions, and business initiatives.

How you will make an impact:

• Develops short and long term marketing and retention strategies and objectives.

• Directs and coordinates activities of the business Initiative to assure alignment with corporate goals.

• Researches and evaluates competitive activity.

• Develops and implements an effective tracking mechanism for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities and productivity.

• Develops and conducts office and field rep training methods.

• Oversees the quality control process and procedures.

• Ensures compliance with state and municipal laws, rules, and guidelines for marketing and outreach.

• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• MBA preferred.

• Experience with MS Office Suite preferred.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish preferred.

• Project management experience preferred.

• Familiarity with Bronx and Manhattan marketplace strongly preferred.

• 2-3 years experience leading a sales team preferred.

• Medicaid experience highly preferred.

• Ability to work some nights and weekends preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $104,544 to $156,816.
