As Lead Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing sales territory/customer data insights and analysis of sales performance indicators to respective local/regional sales leadership teams in Europe, with possibility of expansion to EEMEA region. In parallel, you will also be responsible for driving usage of our advanced analytics tools within your assigned divisions, training the commercial teams on our new BI tools, feed marketing plans with external market data and customer segmentation. You will be responsible for defining the European requirements up to the implementation of innovative commercial analytics applications within the division while leveraging our global IT platforms and govern relevant marketing product hierarchies and a set of divisional sales reports.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for delivering information, KPIs, standardized set of reports for supporting the respective Region commercial senior leadership. Take part in initiatives to drive governance of the European standardized sales dashboards.
  • Analyze Stryker commercial data and interact closely with Commercial Analysts vs RHQ Division and Country leaders to disseminate sales growth  insights
  • Execution of new BI strategy around reporting and analytical capabilities to support management and executive key decision making.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze and maintain data on account level sales potential
  • Project lead of one or more European scale programs with responsibility for results in terms of methods and outcomes, owner of the communication and launch plan
  • Collaborate with IT to build /test necessary BI infrastructure
  • Coordinate, validate, reconcile sales data issues with the various business functions when needed
  • Create and execute BI tool training programs for sales/marketing users in a region
  • Gather, analyze and transform market data into customer level sales growth insights 
  • Independently lead the yearly target setting process versus the divisional leadership teams
  • Take part in global projects as SME on own area of expertise

What is required:

  • 5 years’ experience as analyst or similar role, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Solid understanding of sales related data and sales analytics
  • Experienced working with multiple data sets
  • Fluent English (both written and oral)
  • Experience with BI tools: Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query
  • Effective communication skills, ability to present complex data sets to senior sales management, influencing without authority
  • Ability to comprehensively understand master data, transactional and analytical data, hierarchies, sources and relationships (analytical)
  • Should be able to speak language of both IT and Business
  • Project Management skills
  • Strong Excel and data visualization skills
  • Proactive attitude in searching for fact-based answers to business questions
