Golf Cart Driver

Full Time - M-F every other weekend 2pm-10:30pm

Functions under the direction of the Director of Environmental Services. Provides safe golf cart transportation to patients, visitors and team members on the Cobb Hospital campus. Ensures and documents safety checks daily before the operation of the golf cart. Reports maintenance needs as needed. Provides very good customer service to the passengers. Makes deliveries as needed.

Valid GA DL Upon Hire Required

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:


Transportation Duties:

- Transports patients, visitors and team members from parking areas to Cobb Hospital Campus buildings.
- Transport film and specimens from campus buildings to hospital Lab in a timely manner. Practices patient confidentiality at all times. Performs and documents daily safety checks before the use of the golf carts:

- Any safety issues/concerns or maintenance needs are immediately reported.
- Drives cart in a safe manner ensuring passenger safety comes first.
- Passengers must be completely seated before engaging the accelerator.
- Keeps cart neat, clean and organized.
- Fills out a daily transport log of patients and supplies. Customer Service

- Provides very good customer service to passengers.
- Greets each and every passenger and goes out of their way to ensure their needs are met. You are often the first and last impression so it is vital that it is a positive one. Be a team player by being flexible to meet the needs of the work schedule.

Required Minimum Education: High school Graduate or equivalent. Required

Additional Licenses and Certifications:


Valid GA DL Upon Hire Required - Required Minimum Experience:


Prefer hospital experience Required and
Minimum 3 years in a customer service setting, Required

Required Minimum Skills:


Great communication skills. Must be able to understand and communicate verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude.
