We are looking for an experienced SEO expert who combines expertise and experience with personal traits that include a solid work ethic, self motivation, a strong sense of accountability, an ability to collaborate and a results-focused approach to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work across our Fund portfolio with our marketing specialists and Fund leadership to super-charge our SEO driving measurable results in performance and business outcomes. High performance in this role would also provide opportunities to gain experience and exposure to other aspects of marketing.

The role will focus approximately half of its time across our fast-growing consumer facing platform, Quetext.com with the remainder invested across other Fund companies or as needed.  Quetext is a leading writing assistant platform providing plagiarism, AI writing assistance, and AI detection services in 14 languages to subscribers and free users from around the globe.  Quetext subscribers include students, teachers, copywriters, and business professionals.  Newor Media is an industry leading programmatic media company serving premiere website publishers leveraging an AI powered ad monetization platform to generate advertising revenues.  Txt2Give is a leading mobile marketing and donations platform.  SentryKit and Codeinero are ecommerce platforms serving Amazon and Shopify merchant subscribers.

 Job Overview

 Responsible for managing all SEO activities, leveraging SEO tools, including Google Analytics to increase website ranking on all major search engines. Help the company gain website traffic, increase sales/leads, and improve overall engagement and footfalls through the web SEO specialist job role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SEO campaigns to meet the objectives and ROI goals
  • Support development of keyword driven content blueprints for onsite blogs and content
  • Perform comprehensive SEO audits of websites including lead or sales performance data, rankings data, crawl logs, and site analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to create an actionable plan for improvement and optimization.
  • Analyze on-page, off-page, and technical factors of the site and provide recommendations to improve its overall SEO growth and performance.
  • Conduct periodic keyword research, technical and content audits, and competitor analysis to discover new SEO opportunities and improve site traffic.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve backlinks and domain authority through ethical link-building strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the website development team to ensure that the best SEO practices are executed throughout the website
  • Increase organic traffic, research buyer persona, achieve featured snippets, and track online metrics.
  • Stay up to date on the latest search engine algorithm changes, SEO trends, tools, effective benchmarks, and best practices.
  • Experience in optimizing content for E-A-T (Expertise, Authority, Trustworthiness).
  • Experience in ethical link-building techniques, such as outreach, guest blogging, and skyscraper strategies.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional SEO experience
  • Experience leading and managing SEO, digital metrics, and web traffic and analytics.
  • Experience with SEO tools and website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, Screaming Frog, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to SEO.
  • Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools and algorithms, SEO best practices, and competitor news through audience insights and digital analytics.
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communication, media studies or another discipline
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz)
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
  • Familiarity with PPC and social media marketing strategies.
