Caterpillar Poland is currently seeking a Temporary Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) to join our team in Sosnowiec. This role is a backfill opportunity, offering the chance to contribute to a dynamic, international environment while supporting critical supplier quality processes.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and continuity of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing incoming material quality and related processes
• Leading supplier quality issue resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Monitoring and improving supplier performance and supporting APQP activities
• Ensuring successful execution of PPAP for new products and supplier changes
• Supporting and verifying quality processes at supplier sites
• Managing and minimizing supply disruptions caused by supplier quality issues

 

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• An engineering or manufacturing background, with understanding of processes related to steel components and assemblies
• Knowledge of shopfloor operations and maintenance practices
• Strong project management skills
• Effective communication skills in English and Polish

 

Preferred Qualifications

We would especially like to hear from you if you have:

• Relevant hands-on experience in a similar role
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Engineering, Quality, or Procurement
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative working relationships
• Experience in data-driven problem solving and quality improvement methods

Base Minimum Pay:

134 567,00 zł

 

Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.

 

 

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
