Team/Role Overview

Trust Remediation Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. The analyst applies in-depth knowledge contributing to the improvement of processes and workflows. They integrate subject matter and industry expertise within the defined area and coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. They will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Work and performance of all stakeholders in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

What you’ll do

  • Check validity of responses to KYC Addendum trust questions in the context of trust documents on file (Trust Deed, Trustee Declaration etc.)
  • Approve or reject cases
  • Work with maker team to address shortcomings.
  • Ensure all rejects contain appropriate rationale clear to non-expert reader.
  • Escalate selected cases to partner teams in the US and regions/clusters.
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong ability to plan work, accomplish milestones and multi-task.
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Prior experience in analysing and researching data.
  • Ability to make decisions based on facts and own judgment.
  • Expert knowledge on types of trusts and trust structures
  • Ability to analyse and interpret policies to correctly implement requirements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to improve existing processes, detail-oriented, excellent team player, able to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated interest in the fields of KYC and/or Account Onboarding and/or Compliance.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
