As an Sr. Program Scheduler, you will report to the Principal Program Planner & Program Controls and support the Program Management team within Ultra Seaborne Sensors and SystemsNationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Duties Include:
Support Program Managers in organizing and facilitating Program planning activities
Assist program managers in developing and maintaining Program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Organize, design, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for Programs and report on program status
Resource load IMS to create Program Measurement Baseline (PMB), conduct regular status (EV) updates and Remaining Work (ETC) estimates in MS Project
Perform analysis of the Integrated Master Schedule to include schedule variance analysis, critical path analysis, DECM/DCMA 14-pt. schedule health analysis, resource analysis, and what-if scenarios
Monitor schedule performance including weekly and monthly variance reports
Coordinate with program functional teams, integrated project teams, and other stakeholders to review and understand their schedule inputs/updates and address identified gaps and issues
Serves as the program’s schedule management subject matter expert (SME) and work with the program team and stakeholders to interpret and address schedule related items
Proactively identify and communicate schedule dependencies, impacts, and risks to the program management team
Participate in and support the program’s risk management and governance process
Develop IMS custom views and reports as requested by the Program Managers
Support internal and customer facing program reviews
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline
5+ years of schedule management experience for product development or manufacturing
Desired Skills:
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and ability to coordinate with multiple Program teams
Experience scheduling large Navy Programs
Experience in the aerospace/defense industry
Experience with Microsoft Project Server
3+ years resource loading IMS
Experience with the Deltek EV Tool Suite, particularly Cobra
Experience managing Program schedules with large subcontractor content
Advanced degree in business management, program management or related field
PMI-SP Certification
