About the Role 

This position will work with business units, supporting multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality and strategic targets. The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.  
 

This position will be hybrid in Alpharetta, GA (3x week) and require onsite interviewing.  
 

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze, define and document requirements and business processes.  

  • Develop systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies.  

  •  Create technical and functional user documentation.  

  • Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs.  

  •  Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of complex solutions.  

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.  

  • Identifies and documents process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.  

  • Perform analysis on existing systems;identifying options for potential solutions and assessing both technical and business suitability.  

  • Work between remote development teams, internal IT and business to ensure requirements are met.  

  • Skilled in working with SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, WSDL, and JSON for schema design and data mapping.  

  • Demonstrate technical expertise across methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages such as Python, SQL, and PL/SQL to effectively support technology teams.  

  •  Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI agents that automate processes, enhance decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.  

  • Ability to maintain automated test scripts.  

 
Requirements 

  • 3+ years IT business analyst experience  

  •  BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required, ISEB qualified Business Analyst preferred  

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to support business, development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.  
     
    TECHNICAL SKILLS:  

  • Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes  

  • Broad understanding of software development methodologies  

  • Understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC)  

  • Expertise in web service technologies including WSDL, XML, SOAP, REST, and JSON, along with proficiency in tools such as Postman.  

  • Demonstrated experience in Python programming, data visualization, and foundational machine learning concepts to effectively leverage AI for business process improvements.  

  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization  

  • Expertise gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/techno-functional specifications.  

  • Strong knowledge of conceptual data modeling, UML, data flows, data analysis, and data processing.    

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $70,200 - $117,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
