Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
Job Description:
Leverage data analytics to identify and drive product strategy and technical execution of Ecommerce initiatives related to Fulfillment, Order management and logistics (forward & return). Integrate & analyze large scale data sets to make critical product decisions. Use understanding of economic and statistical models to define product and lead engineering design discussions. Leverage data analytics to optimize: Inventory and supply chain management through forecasting, demand analysis, and risk mitigation strategies. Order management, fulfillment, and logistics (forward and return) by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing processes for efficiency. Garner customer satisfaction by analyzing customer behavior data and feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze revenue and operational costs by utilizing data-driven models to inform pricing strategies, resource allocation, and cost reduction initiatives. Distill business vision and strategy using data analysis to guide eCommerce team decisions. Conduct competitive intelligence gathering and analyze customer behavior data to inform product direction and feature development. Drive the definition and execution of product go-to-market plans based on data-backed insights. Clearly communicate data-driven product plans, benefits, and results to both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate on data-driven product development and own end-to-end product development. Partner with product and engineering teams to translate data insights into product specifications and user experience (UX) designs. Utilize data science techniques to inform product roadmap prioritization and resource allocation. Write product specifications, lead work with architecture and engineering teams for technical design solutions. Work with development & quality assurance engineering to build and ship features. Utilize data science techniques to inform product roadmap prioritization and resource allocation. Analyze product performance data to identify issues and measure success against key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 4 years progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any data analytics, quantitative marketing, or operations research related job titles.
Skills must include: (1) data manipulation using SQL; (2) building reports and visualizations using Tableau; (3) data technologies, GIT, Airflow, and ETL Technologies; (4) running analytics on data sets to draw insights (Developing custom scripts); (5) Designing, executing, and measuring new product features; (6) using statistical tools and forecasting; (7) working in the eCommerce or Digital Marketing industry; and (8) presenting to technical teams and C-suite.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $222,500 – $232,500/Year. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
