We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Business Lead who will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for leveraging Customer Data to enhance user engagement, advertising monetization, and user valuation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the intricacies of advertising sales, user segmentation, content personalization, marketing campaigns, and data analytics in the Digital Media environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Vision:

  • Develop with Business Stakeholders a strategic vision for leveraging Customer Data to enhance user engagement, advertising monetization, and user valuation.

  • Align Customer Data Project goals with overall business objectives.

  • Translate business needs into actionable data strategies, goals, and tasks

Business Context Mastery and Alignment Across Departments:

  • Deeply understand the intricacies of advertising sales, user segmentation, content personalization, marketing campaigns, and data analytics in the Digital Media environment.

  • Bridge the needs of Ad Sales, Editorial Offices, Marketing, Analytics, and other teams concerning Customer Data.

  • Understand the specific requirements and challenges faced by each business stream in the Digital Media environment.

  • Facilitate collaboration and ensure data initiatives align with their goals and Customer Data Project Goals.

Data Governance:

  • Create and execute Data Governance policies and procedures and guidelines related to Customer Data

  • Integrate Data Governance solutions into business processes

  • Active support for Metadata Management, Business Data Architecture, and Data Quality, aligned with the usage of Data Catalog for Customer Data.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Data Strategy and Execution:

  • Coordination and management of activities related to the Customer Data Project,

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and explore innovative ways to monetize Customer Data

  • Collaborate with the Adsales and Traffic teams to develop combined Adsales data products utilizing Customer Data.

  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to assess user valuation based on engagement, demographics, and behaviors.

  • Leverage machine learning / AI (Artificial Intelligence) models to predict user preferences and interests.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business area (cross-domain acumen required)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Data Literacy: Proficiency in understanding and interpreting data.

  • Technology: Good grasp and familiarity with Big Data and AI solutions.

  • Data: strong understanding and knowledge of data governance and data management practices.

  • Legal / Privacy: Comprehending the regulation that apply to digital environments

  • Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights to business outcomes.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in project management (e.g., project lead, project manager)

  • Proficiency in digital media and/or television environment required.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data-driven roles (e.g., business analysis, data strategy, marketing analytics).

  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Managment Platforms (DMPs) or similar tools.

  • Previous exposure to advertising technology (ad servers, programmatic platforms) is advantageous.

  • Having previous experience in Data Governance projects will be considered an advantage.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, marketers, and technical experts.
