SUMMARY:

As Growth Analyst, you will create and operationalize business strategy and identify areas for future growth. You will drive projects forward, from problem and hypothesis development through analysis to recommendation, while driving cross-functional alignment to ensure smooth implementation by different stakeholders, including the Sales, Strategy, Operations, and Marketing teams.The ideal candidate is highly analytical and proactive, very communicative, and willing to get into operational details with a results-driven approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Growth Team develops and operationalizes a clear strategy for defining, sizing, and qualifying Placer’s markets. The team provides guidance on which verticals to prioritize, and how to maximize conversion across different stages of the pipeline. 

The main sets of projects you will work on include:

  • Data analysis: Develop & analyze KPIs, track sales pipeline performance, and optimize funnel conversion
  • TAM triangulation: Scrape & analyze databases to size & qualify our total addressable market in each vertical
  • Headcount planning & territory management: Build a headcount forecast of the number of salespeople needed by vertical and create territories for the team
  • Project management: collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams, including the designing & launching of growth experiments across verticals
  • Ad hoc analyses: Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with the relevant leaders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree, in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a similar quantitative business degree with strong academic achievement
  • At least two years of relevant experience in strategy, finance, or business operations functions; experience at an investment bank or management consulting firm a bonus
  • Truly outstanding problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems, turn both quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights with solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Excellent presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and a track record of designing presentations for senior leadership to help drive cross-functional alignment
  • Strong project management, execution, and change management skills, with experience driving cross-functional projects over the finish line in tight timelines
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership; capable of seeking information, solving complex problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Growth mindset with a strong appetite for professional development

ADVANTAGES:
