The work:

The Center of Excellence (COE) enables Sales Excellence to deliver best-in-class service offerings to Accenture leaders, practitioners, and sales teams. As a member of the COE Analytics team, you will manage the data science and analytics that automate the delivery of business insights to our internal sales team customers.

You will:

• Lead projects related to data science and analytics, leveraging cross-functional resources from within the COE to meet project goals.   

• Individually contribute code to support your projects.

• Structure data for use in analytics applications.

• Ensure the output created by projects you lead meet business users’ needs.

• Work with our partners to deliver insights via various mediums, such as visualization tools, slide decks, and Gen AI/LLM. 

Here’s what you need:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• At least five years of experience, which includes: 
  • Managing data science and analytics projects.
  • Advanced SQL and relational databases.     
  • Advanced Python, creating production code in an object-oriented programming framework.
  • Cloud technology.
  • Building of data flow components and processing systems to extract, transform, load, and integrate data from various sources.
• Business acumen, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize own workload and manage downstream stakeholders and resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress.
• Mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving aptitude.

Extra credit if you have:

• A master’s degree in a technical field.
• Understanding of Accenture sales process and systems.
• Built training data that has improved the usefulness of a Gen AI/LLM model.
• Worked directly with customers to understand their business needs.
• Experience with Python database communications, e.g., SQLAlchemy. 
• Used development tools, e.g., Git, Google Composer, and Azure DevOps, and visualization tools, e.g., Power BI.
• Leveraged quality assurance processes, such as unit and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
• Are comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to navigate unknowns to create a clear workplan.
• Worked in an environment where you've had to balance building prototypes versus models at scale.

• Must be able to work flexible hours according to business needs.
• Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines.
