AI is redefining the discovery of new materials and chemicals across various industries ranging from supercomputing, higher education, manufacturing, semiconductors, agriculture, etc. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will drive the development of product and capabilities that combine Generative AI, AI/ML techniques accelerating and simplifying the discovery and design of novel molecules for products such as efficient batteries, energy renewables, environment-friendly polymers, etc. The Product Manager would work with software developers, hardware developers, and research scientists to enable an array of applications and workflows combining AI with simulation. 

We’re seeking someone who is a self-starter and has a track record of developing products from the ground up. The ideal candidate must have strong technical and problem-solving abilities and prior experience/background in software applications on AI models for material science and chemistry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define the product features, capabilities, value proposition, positioning, and roadmap based on market analysis and customer feedback.

  • Work closely with engineering to set requirements, priorities and drive integration with complementary NVIDIA software products.

  • Define go-to-market strategy and build assets for product launches, blogs, webinars, PR, and sales enablement.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and offerings to identify early-access customers and partnership opportunities 

  • Participate and present in workshops and conferences

What we need to see:

  • Masters degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related field (Ph.D. preferred) or equivalent experience 

  • Experience and familiarity with chemistry and material science simulation tools, AI and scientific computing applications 

  • 8+ in a technical product leadership role at a technology company in delivering software and libraries

  • Good understanding of modern processor technologies (GPUs preferred) 

  • Proven track record of collaborating cross functionally 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with world-class communication skills to articulate the value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences 

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience developing chemistry or material science applications in C/C++, Fortan or Python 

  • Background in the development of chemistry/materials simulation software packages, machine learning interatomic potentials (MLIP) design, or generative AI for chemistry/material science.

  • General knowledge of scientific computing and computer architectures

  • Hands-on demeanor for problem solving and building customer friendly products

The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
