Job Summary:

This position is responsible for preparing foreign, federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns. This role will also assist in preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions including tax related SEC filings, in addition to leading or assisting with federal and state income tax audits.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare foreign, federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns.
  • Prepare complex calculations as part of the federal consolidated income tax return including the foreign tax credit, GILTI, FDII, LIFO, and stock compensation.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions including tax related SEC filings.
  • Assist with the review of fixed assets, calculation of tax depreciation, and prepare cost segregation studies on new buildings.
  • Work with outside firm and other internal departments on managing expatriate income tax compliance.
  • Assist with federal and state income tax audits.
  • Conduct research and provide supporting documentation for tax positions taken on return and for proposed transactions.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

To ensure the company is in compliance with all Foreign, US Federal and US State income tax laws.  To ensure the accurate reporting of taxes in the quarterly and annual reports. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of income tax reporting and research software
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws.
  • Up to 5% Travel.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master’s Degree
  • C.P.A.
  • Knowledge of ASC 740.
