Job Summary:

Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining provider and staff schedules. Position requires occasional administrative duties. High School diploma required, preferred some college. Two to four years of medical office experience required. Incumbent must have flexibility to work under continually changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Incumbent must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Create, coordinate, and maintain office schedules * Clinical staff schedule * Provider schedule * ther administrative schedules Time and attendance management * Compete time and attendance for clinical staff * Schedule clinical representatives visits to various practices * May have to cover the non-clinical staff schedules Key Role/Responsibility * Other duties as assigned Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma General or GED General
  • Associates General-Preferred

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 2 years to 4 years medical office experience Required

    Required Minimum Skills:

    Typing 55 words a minute Excel and Microsoft Word Must have strong organizational skills Attention to detail Able to multi-task Must be able to handle calls and communicate in a professional and courteous manner Must have the ability to accept responsibility and follow through with assignments Must be clear and concise with communication Must maintain a professional atmosphere in office Able to work with physicians effectively Must be able to work in a fast passed, high stress environment Must be able to manage confidential information
