Under the direction and supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Assistant serves as a liaison between internal associates, business partners and the corporate facilities team in performing a variety of maintenance, custodial and support duties to ensure the upkeep and continued operations of the facility while confirming to corporate standards, policies and procedures. This position assists in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the corporate work environment. This role is on-site.
How You'll Shine:
Responsible for processing all facilities requests, including the initiation and execution of work orders within FM Systems (keys, office supplies, copier/fax toner replacement, etc.).
Coordinates processing of business mail to include shipping, receiving, delivery, UPS, mail sorting, mail metering, and managing of personal mail.
Performs general/light maintenance and cleaning duties throughout facility (e.g., occasional trash disposal/compacting, light bulb replacement, ceiling tile replacement, painting, cleaning of office equipment, furniture, break/coffee rooms, conference rooms).
Performs office and modular furniture moves and reconfigurations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimal travel between Orlando Corporate sites (5%)
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma required.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Ability to operate basic office equipment, including computers, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, fax machines.
Possesses the physical ability and stamina to perform the essential functions of the position.
Able to learn quickly, keen attention to detail
Ability to properly utilize all tools and equipment necessary to perform job responsibilities.
High level of quality customer service skills
Effectively multi-task and prioritize
Ability to be flexible and work in an evolving environment
MS Office to include Outlook
UPS/Campus Ship
Mail Metering
Mail Tracking System
Work Order Systems
Minimum one (1) year experience providing customer service support in a corporate environment
Office services or general maintenance skills and experience with hand tools
Experience with modular office furniture
Experience with office machines
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
