Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the development and evolution of digital asset financial infrastructure platforms at RBC, with a focus on trading, custody, settlement, and clearing capabilities as they relate to digital assets and stablecoins.
This role is focused on the core systems and workflows required to safely operate, scale, and integrate digital asset activities within an institutional financial services environment. As a Product Manager, you will help define product capabilities that enable secure asset movement, lifecycle management, and post-trade processes across internal systems and external market infrastructure.
You will work closely with technology, operations, risk, and business partners across Capital Markets, Investor Services, Payments, and Enterprise Platforms to translate complex infrastructure requirements into well-defined product roadmaps and delivery plans.

What will you do?

  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for digital asset financial infrastructure capabilities, including trading, custody, settlement, and clearing.
  • Lead product definition for infrastructure workflows supporting digital assets and stablecoins across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Translate business, operational, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear product documentation, epics, and user stories.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to support solution design, prioritization, and delivery execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Capital Markets, Investor Services, Payments, Group Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Support pilots, proofs of concept, and controlled production initiatives related to digital asset market infrastructure.
  • Evaluate vendor platforms, market infrastructure providers, and integration approaches relevant to digital asset trading and custody.
  • Contribute to governance and decision-making forums by preparing product materials, status updates, and recommendations.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, platform delivery, or technology roles supporting financial infrastructure systems.
  • Experience working with trading, custody, settlement, clearing, or post-trade systems within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of digital assets, stablecoins, and the associated market infrastructure and operating models.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear product requirements.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments and partnering with risk, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with digital asset custody platforms, tokenization systems, or blockchain-based settlement.
  • Exposure to market infrastructure providers, vendors, or integration platforms supporting digital assets.
  • Familiarity with capital markets workflows, payments rails, or treasury operations.
  • Experience working in innovation labs, fintech environments, or digital asset programs.
