We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. This individual will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture. They will also oversee the progress of operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. This individual will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture. They will also oversee the progress of operations.  The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Lead and evaluate project managers
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change, risk and resource management
  • Develop relevant KPI’s and assess program performance
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
  • Prepare reports for program directors, and other executive leadership
  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Track budgets and operating plans for the program
  • Analyze and mitigate program risks
  • Responsible for driving adherence to the IT PML

Scope: (Include scope/ complexity of the role that can be measured and are pertinent to the roles responsibilities)

  • Responsible for managing 3 – 5 project managers
  • Responsible for program budget accountability and reporting
  • Responsible for managing and driving KPI’s to include budget, scope and schedule PCR’s and reporting

    Basic & Preferred Qualifications

    • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
    • Master’s degree in related field preferred
    • 5+ years’ experience as Sr. Project Manager, preferably in a technology environment
    • 8+ years’ experience as Program Manager
    • PMP preferred

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $123,900.00 - $185,830.00
