The MuleSoft Executive leads pre-sales and integration consulting for API-led engagements. This role guides the consulting team, oversees solution architecture, and ensures integration strategies align with client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Discovery

• Lead integration discovery sessions and executive briefings.
• Assess client integration requirements, existing architecture, and system dependencies.
• Translate complex integration challenges into scalable API-led solutions.

Solution Design & Oversight

• Approve high-level architecture for MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, connectors, flows, and API designs.
• Guide design patterns including synchronous/asynchronous messaging, event-driven flows, error handling, and orchestration.
• Oversee PoCs and demos for executive presentations.

Proposal & Estimation

• Approve estimates, resource planning, and project delivery strategies.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and SOWs with strategic guidance.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor MuleSoft developers and integration consultants.
• Maintain integration patterns, reusable assets, and best practice frameworks.

Collaboration & Governance

• Partner with Sales, Technical Architects, and PMO for alignment.
• Represent MuleSoft practice in executive client discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led architecture, ESB, REST/SOAP, and integration patterns.
• Executive-level pre-sales leadership and solution consulting experience.
• Strong ability to communicate complex integration strategies to business stakeholders.

Experience

• 5+ years software integration or MuleSoft consulting experience.
• Prior experience managing pre-sales teams and leading client engagements.

Preferred Certifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (MCD1)
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (preferred)
• Java or Cloud certifications
