Job Description:
This position is responsible for in and outbound calls to help collect back overpayments from our provider or members. Provides excellent customer service and has an understanding of claims processing. Works closely with our Accounts Receivable area to support. Strong work ethics and ability to work independently.Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Essential Functions
Solves problems within an accounting application or process. Performs a variety of calculating, verifying, posting, and summarizing tasks in maintaining assigned segments of financial records.
Performs routine, repetitive tasks in recording day-to-day transactions related to reconciliations, systems, and reports.
Resolves errors and notifies appropriate personnel to prevent future occurrences. Researches routine issues and makes recommendations for improvement.
Provides excellent customer service to colleagues and customers with timely and professional phone calls, instant messages and emails.
Demonstrates ownership and accountability by taking responsibility for tasks and exemplifies dependable attendance.
Manages a volume of work to meet required deadlines and set department goals.
Understands and appropriately interprets Intermountain policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
