About you and this role

In this position you will support customers by understanding main needs and market trends to develop and implement innovative solutions and new applications. The role requires providing technical knowledge on the use, handling, and management of Dow products for Packaging and Infrastructure markets. You will use your understanding of the customer to define projects that deliver technical solutions to customers and markets. In this role, you will need to understand key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others. Your responsibility will involve using technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance will impact the quality of your work and your team’s work, requiring adherence to established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Leverage broad market, customer, and competitive technology insights to resolve complex technical challenges and promote differentiated solutions.
• Identify synergies across technologies to maximize value creation for both Dow and its customers.
• Exemplify the use of scientific methods and project methodologies, while coaching others in applying these tools effectively.
• Contribute to innovation strategy and lead intellectual property development through technology mapping and strategic planning.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly through impactful presentations, reports, and documentation tailored to internal and external audiences.
• Author and present technical papers at industry conferences, serving as a thought leader and knowledge contributor.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Material Science or Mechanical) or Chemistry
• Minimum 3-4 years of related experience in Technical Service and Development
• Fluency in Arabic and English to conduct customer interactions is a must
• Experience in Infrastructure or Packaging market is a plus
• Strong understanding of polymers, at least Polytheylene required
