Role Summary
The Client Service Associate/Analyst provides essential non-advice-related support to wealth advisors and their clients, ensuring seamless delivery of wealth management services. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop core knowledge of financial products, planning concepts, and client service practices while supporting experienced advisors in managing high-net-worth client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide non-advice-related support to clients including preparing standard client reports and account statements
- Maintain accurate client files, documentation, and ensure all records are current and compliant
- Answer routine client questions and service requests under supervision of advisors
- Interface with broker-dealers, custodians, and product providers to facilitate transactions and resolve issues
- Prepare materials for client meetings including performance reports, financial statements, and presentation decks
- Process account paperwork including new account openings, transfers, and beneficiary updates
- Assist with scheduling client meetings and maintaining advisor calendars
- Monitor client accounts for required actions such as RMDs, rebalancing needs, and account reviews
- Support the team with data entry into financial planning software and CRM systems
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Complete assigned training programs to build knowledge of financial products and planning concepts
- Ensure all client communications and documentation meet compliance standards
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, economics, or related field
Industry Credentials & Licenses
- Series 65 preferred; if associated with Broker-Dealer: SIE, Series 7, and Series 66
- Willingness to pursue CFP certification and additional industry designations
Professional Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client services
- Core knowledge of financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and managers
- Professional demeanor with commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in wealth management
