Academic Req: 

Required – High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred – 2-year Associate degree from an accredited program/institution or two or more years of college-level course work 

Certifications: 

First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention 

Work experience: 

Required – One (1) year of related experience and/or training;

Preferred – Two (2) plus years of related experience and/or training 

Work Schedule: 1 pm-10 pm

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that apply to this position.

2. Maintain all contractor records and bookkeeping data efficiently and consistently with program requirements, policies, and procedures. 

3. Supervise logistics staff on the ground at each facility. 

4. Generate weekly work order reports, including completed, in progress, and overdue assignments.

5. Maintain a filing and tracking system for building inspection records.

6. Create and submit purchase requisitions, receipts, and invoices per Compass Connections timeline requirements.

7. Maintain purchase order logs.

8. Create and submit travel and expense reports per Compass Connections timeline requirements.

9. Participate in scheduled meetings, team decisions, and operations. 

10. Implement Compass Connections safety protocol, including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency.

11. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and as requested by the supervisor.

12. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations.

13. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the Compass Connections employee handbook, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying withthe required dress code at all times. 

Other Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a comprehensive filing system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.

2. Manage program administration using the Compass Connections requisition system including tracking of receipts and invoices; vendor contact information and contractor and supplier files.

3. Generate general correspondence, memorandums, and department records. 4. Record and maintain departmental and facility reports for the Regional Logistics Director as requested.

5. Maintain comprehensive inventory control system in support of Logistics, Food Services/National School Lunch Program and Maintenance Departments. 6. Meet all pre-determined deadlines required by the program and federal partners. 7. Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

1. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.

2. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.  

3. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.

4. Demonstrate the ability to: 

a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.

b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.

c. Read, understand, and interpret policy manuals and documents.

d. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.

e. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.  

f. Organize and plan work.

g. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
