A Day in the Life

Under the leadership of Cath Lab Technologies Training Academy Leader for EMEA Region-Led Markets (EMEA RLM), you will support the implementation of the Health Care Professionals (HCP) Training and Educational strategy and activities in fields related to device therapy and diagnostics of Cardiac Rhythm Diseases (Cardiac Rhythm Management, CRM) and to interventional treatment of cardiac tachyarrhythmias (Cardiac Ablation Solutions, CAS). 

As an Intern, you will be supporting all training & education (T&E) activities and events organized by the EMEA RLM Training Academy team, which will mainly be executed in Medtronic Innovation Center (MIC) in Istanbul.

Internship details:
•    Start date: October
•    Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend)
•    Working hours: 40 h/week
•    Working model: hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
•    Location: Istanbul

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Work in close collaboration with the Training Academy Team members across EMEA RLM and support the execution of T&E programs defined by strategic T&E plan
• Contribute to the planning and development of T&E activities such as: medical symposia, HCPs educational conferences and workshops, with the help of key opinion leaders
• Help with the implementation of the medical and educational programs (Clinical Immersions, Masterclasses, Fellowships, Proctorships, GLP Learning Pathways, Scientific Round Tables)
• Help to conduct all CRM and CAS trainings in MIC and be responsible for the maintenance of T&E databases and management of SharePoint based nomination and tracking tools.

Required Knowledge: 
•    Recent graduate or in the final year of studies in a medical/scientific background - Biomedical Engineering or related
•    Fluency in English and Turkish (written and spoken)
•    Very good knowledge of MS Office
•    Good analytical skills with the highest level of integrity
•    Very good organizational and project management skills
•    Customer focus with high level of empathy and adaptability
•    Good communication skills, willingness to work as a part of an international team
•    Willingness to travel within the region (very limited)

Would be a plus:

•    Basic knowledge in AI

•    Skills in working with online platforms like Power BI and Share Point

•    Proven understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical area and healthcare systems’ specifics

•    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams

•    Eager to learn & develop
