You will be part of the Post Silicon SW Tool & Automation team in NVIDIA Networking Business Unit, a team responsible for the infrastructure, GUI tools and all SW related application of the high-speed communication products, and be working with other teams such as the circuit design, digital design, lab & firmware to ensure outstanding products and superb automated tools.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop software tools and infrastructure to control the hardware of NVIDIA products, with a focus on mixed-signal IP.

  • Design and implement graphical user interfaces, create and integrate plots and visualizations.

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated tools for SerDes hardware, ensuring they meet high performance and usability standards.

  • Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

  • Write and execute tests, debug issues, and ensure the reliability and accuracy of the developed tools.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in relevant field

  • Proficiency in Python programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and GUI development

  • Knowledge of hardware, particularly SerDes and Optics

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd: 

  • Experience in controlling and verifying complex SerDes systems, and understanding mixed-signal designs

  • Knowledge of communication protocols

  • Proficiency in design patterns

  • Proven experience in developing state-of-the-art tools for SerDes hardware
