Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD EDI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The candidate will be responsible for creating, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP SD processes integrated with EDI solutions to enable seamless electronic transactions with customers and trading partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Create, configure, and implement EDI message types like ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV and INVOIC in SAP ECC system.
Manage EDI transaction sets such as 850, 855, 856, 810, 997, etc.
Configure and support SAP EDI components including:
o SAP IDocs (Inbound & Outbound)
o Partner Profiles (WE20)
o Message Types & Process Codes
Integrate SAP with middleware platforms such as:
o SAP PI/PO
o Seeburger BIS
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI/IDoc errors (WE02, WE05, BD87, SM58).
Coordinate testing with trading partners and third-party vendors.
Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Support production issues and provide ongoing enhancements.
Ensure compliance with EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
Prepare functional and technical documentation.
